BUSHWICK, Brooklyn (PIX11) — A woman was killed after being hit by a box truck in Brooklyn early Friday morning, according to the NYPD.
The 30-year-old was found in the crosswalk, unconscious and unresponsive, with body trauma at the intersection of St. Nicolas and Gates Avenues in Brooklyn around 8:30 a.m., police said.

She was transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead, authorities reported.
An early investigation revealed that a white box truck was turning onto Gates Avenue from St. Nicolas Avenue when the driver hit the woman in the crosswalk, according to police.
