OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) – A colt sold for $10.5 million at Ocala Breeder’s Sales (OBS) Friday, breaking records at the Horse Capital of the World.
The colt, known as “Hip 1056,” is the first son of Flightline, the world’s highest-rated dirt horse. Bob Baffert, with Zedan Racing, purchased the horse at auction for the record price.
The colt’s former owners said he comes from a pure bloodline and resembles his famous father. They said he takes after his father in many ways and is a sight to behold on the track…
