Thousands without power in Tennessee

TENNESSEE — Thousands of homes and businesses across Tennessee are without power as of Saturday morning, according to the latest data from PowerOutage.us.

As of the most recent update, 5,842 customers were reported without electricity statewide, representing about 0.17% of the more than 3.4 million customers tracked.

The majority of outages are concentrated in western Tennessee, with Shelby County reporting the highest number at 3,327 customers without power. Dickson County follows with 869 outages, while smaller numbers of outages have been reported in Lauderdale County (258), Tipton County (197), Davidson County (186), Knox County (168), Van Buren County (133), and Houston County (85)…
