Comstock Park apartment fire displaces residents after possible lightning strike

COMSTOCK PARK, Mich. — A structure fire at an apartment complex in Comstock Park displaced residents early Saturday morning.

Just before 1:30 a.m., the Alpine Fire Department (AFD) responded to a structure fire on Alpenhorn Drive Northwest.

Units arrived to find heavy flames from the roof, AFD said in a post.

All residents evacuated safely, and there were no injuries reported to civilians or firefighters. 11 units are affected.
