Nebraska volleyball head coach Dani Busboom Kelly downplayed the concerns related to the Huskers’ fourth-set collapse against the Creighton Bluejays, where a brief switch in the system cost them the fourth set. She also mentioned how the team has no intentions to use the system going forward.
The Nebraska Huskers took on the Bluejays and won 3–1 in their spring exhibition match that took place on April 17 at D.J. Sokol Arena in Omaha. The first three sets saw a dominating combined .386 hit, alongside 11 kills and 6 digs, all of which had already decided the fate of the match.
Both teams had, however, decided before the match to play a bonus fourth round, where things went dramatically differently from the first three sets, when the Huskers decided to experiment with a newly thought-out system…
