LOWCOUNTRY, S.C. (WCIV) — The average price of gas in South Carolina dropped sharply Monday morning, falling 13.7 cents per gallon and bringing some much needed relief to motorists.
According to GasBuddy’s survey of 3,028 stations in South Carolina, the new average cost for a gallon of gas in the state sits at approximately $3.66 as of Monday.
“Average gasoline prices declined in 48 states over the last week, while diesel prices fell in 46 states, offering a welcome break at pumps, with the national average price of gasoline dipping below the $4 per gallon mark over the weekend,” said Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy…
