Ciel Senior Living continues to expand its senior living community management portfolio as the company looks to launch a home care services platform later this year to support older adults beyond the residential senior living setting.
The eight senior living communities newest to Ciel are owned by Denver-based real estate investment trust Janus Living and formerly were managed by Brentwood, TN-based Brookdale Senior Living. The formal management change, announced Friday, was effective April 1.
The move expands Garden City Park, NY-based Ciel’s presence across Colorado, Illinois, Maryland and Tennessee and now means that Ciel’s portfolio stands at 20 communities with a collective unit count of more than 2,700 units across 12 states.
