INDEPENDENCE, Ohio — Members of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen have ratified a contract agreement with Tacoma Rail, featuring retroactive pay from 2017 to 2025 and new wage increases from this year through 2029.
The agreement also adds Juneteenth as a paid holiday and addresses other work rules. Medical insurance mirrors that of other City of Tacoma employees. Tacoma Rail is owned and operated by the city as a public utility to provide service to the Port of Tacoma.
