License plate readers, public safety cameras lead to arrest of armed robbery suspects in Murfreesboro, police say

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Murfreesboro Police Department reports that license plate readers and public safety cameras led to the arrest of armed robbery suspects in April.

MPD reports that two suspects, Javier McClendon, 22, and Frank Foster-Dowell, 26, are accused of robbing a CBD store at gunpoint on April 9.

Police said crime data analysts were able to identify a vehicle linked to the robbery and placed it near the business at the time of the crime…
