A weekend fight between two men in Richmond turned violent in a hurry, leaving one man shot and another stabbed, according to authorities. The clash unfolded in the 300 block of Payne Lane, and both men were taken to area hospitals. The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office said the gunshot victim is expected to survive and that the case remains under active investigation.
According to ABC13 Houston, investigators said the gunshot victim was transported to a local hospital and is expected to be OK. ABC13 reports that deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office later found the man who had been stabbed and got him medical treatment as well. At the time of the report, officials had not released the names of either man and had not announced any arrests.
