HERRIMAN, Utah (KUTV) — The identities of those killed in an apparent murder-suicide were released.
Officers with the Herriman Police Department found two people — Lindha P Zerpa Lara, age 43, of Herriman, and Manuel R Ramirez Perez, 56, of South Salt Lake — dead after conducting a welfare check in a home near 4500 West Watchmen Way on Friday night.
The investigation began after family members attempted to call Lara for several hours without receiving a response. They then reached out to the police, who conducted a welfare check and found her and Ramirez Perez, her ex-husband, inside the home.
