RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – REMSA Health, in partnership with Northern Nevada Public Health, is offering a new educational program for students to gain hands-on, real-world emergency medical services (EMS) training. In affiliation with Scouting America’s Exploring Division, REMSA Health’s EMS Explorer Program is the only one of its kind available in northern Nevada. Available for students ages 15 to 18, it introduces participants to the fast-paced world of emergency medical response while building foundational skills that can lead to future careers in EMS, healthcare and public safety.
