Lake Oswego caretaker arrested, accused of stealing thousands from elderly clients

Washington County prosecutors have accused a 23-year-old Lake Oswego woman of stealing from five elderly clients in the Portland area while working as their caregiver.

Willow McCullough was indicted by a grand jury on April 8 of aggravated identity theft, fraudulent use of a credit card and theft. The indictment alleges she stole more than $10,000 from one of the victims, who was above the age of 65. McCullough pleaded not guilty to all 16 charges.

Beaverton police alleged McCullough used her position as a caregiver to get credit card information and other financial documents from “vulnerable adults” and make unauthorized purchases…
