(WHNT) — The Community Free Clinic of Morgan-Decatur County is open to more than just patients. It’s open to neighbors in need. In this week’s next question, we are sitting down with the clinic director to reflect on compassion and community.
“We are here for people wherever they are in life,” Jessica Payne said.
Payne is the executive director of the Community Free Clinic in Decatur. Payne grew up in north Alabama, graduated from Decatur High School. She says she always knew she wanted to help people in her city. She’s spent her entire career working in non-profits, leading care in the same community where her journey began. Guided by her mother’s compassion.
