A new community police station could be coming to West Toledo within the next few months.
Toledo Police Chief Michael Troendle said the department has identified a building and hopes to have the lease signed sometime in the next month.
“We’re currently looking at a building at Jackman and Sylvania,” Chief Troendle said Thursday at a Toledo City Council committee meeting. “Our hope is to have the lease secured, the updates done to the property, and a viable staffing plan before summer hits.”…
