Warm, Storms Return This Weekend

Gusty winds and continued dry conditions in the Evansville and Southern Indiana area keep the fire danger heightened through early Tuesday evening. Winds are expected to calm around sunset tonight.

We anticipate a shift in our weather pattern, as daily high temperatures are projected to reach the low 80s for most of the week, with Thursday likely being the warmest day across the region.

Our best chance for rain and storms arrives late in the week, with Friday having a heightened chance of thunderstorms, including the possibility of severe weather in the afternoon and evening. A wetter pattern is expected to emerge over the weekend, bringing another opportunity for significant rainfall across the Ohio River Valley.
