HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Huntsville City Schools said that an 11th-grade Grissom High School student was found with a gun in their backpack on Tuesday.
GHS Principal David Coker said during a news conference that after a student triggered the weapons detection system, an SRO pulled them to the side and searched their personal belongings. The student never entered the school building.
