Police seek suspect accused of trying to steal motorcycle outside Lancaster business

LANCASTER, Pa. — Police are searching for a Philadelphia man accused of trying to steal a motorcycle in Lancaster County.

James E. Haines, 40, is charged with one count of theft by unlawful taking in connection to an alleged incident that occurred on April 11 on the 1500 block of Lititz Pike, according to Manheim Township Police.

The victim contacted authorities to report his motorcycle had been vandalized while it was parked outside a CVS Pharmacy. The victim said the motorcycle had been moved, and that its ignition cover had been broken…
