WASHINGTON — On the eighth day of deadlocked deliberations, prosecutors asked a D.C. judge to consider a mistrial in the case against a man accused of shooting and killing a Kentucky teacher on the campus of Catholic University in Northeast DC.
Jurors have delivered 22 notes to the court, and eight of those have expressed in some way that the jury is unable to reach a unanimous verdict against Jaime Macedo.
