Redmond, Bellevue, and Issaquah are joining forces this Earth Month to expand support for building owners working to meet Washington’s clean buildings requirements and improve energy efficiency across large commercial and multifamily properties.
“This program will reduce emissions from buildings and save owners and tenants money by lowering energy bills,” Redmond Mayor Angela Birney said in a news release. “We’re excited to partner with Bellevue and Issaquah on this initiative, as we know we can make a larger impact when we work together.”
Issaquah Mayor Mark Mullet also said in the release that the regional approach is designed to help owners meet climate goals while accessing available incentives.
