Bomb squad called after explosives found in Greater Cincinnati home

ROSS TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) – Explosive materials were found in Ross Township as someone was going through a deceased relative’s home on Monday.

Ross Township Police responded and found four ammunition cans containing detonating cord and another can with blasting caps. Out of an abundance of caution, the Butler County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Unit was called in.

They removed the items and took them away to be destroyed through controlled detonation…
