Good Wednesday morning! We have isolated showers and storms this morning moving across Central Ohio. More rain will pop up again this afternoon, so keep the rain gear handy. Most of the rain will not become severe, and there is only a very slim chance for a few gusty cells with hail this afternoon. We’re starting the day in the upper 50s and lower 60s, then warming to around 77 this afternoon. A light west breeze at 5–15 mph today, with similar winds continuing the next few days, shifting more out of the southwest. The scattered rain will diminish overnight, leaving just a slight chance for a stray shower as temps fall into the mid-50s. Partly cloudy skies overnight.

Thursday looks mostly dry for Central Ohio, with just a few stray showers possible in the afternoon, mainly to the north and east. We warm to a high around 81. Friday follows a similar trend for most of the day. Clouds increase with a high around 84, and rain returns later in the day.

Keep the rain gear ready for late Friday and Saturday morning. An approaching cold front will trigger more scattered rain to start the weekend. Rain should hold off until Friday evening, then continue into early Saturday. Rain chances decrease later Saturday, with highs in the 70s heading into the weekend and early next week. Winds will be out of the northwest and north this weekend…
