ATHENS, Ala. (WHNT) — A local horse farm is heartbroken after losing four of its six horses in a car accident on April 16.
“It’s a big loss,” 4 C’s Equine owner Chelsea Cobb said. “It’s hard to put it into words.”

Last week, Cobb said four of her horses escaped their enclosure and were struck by a car driving by her house in the dark. Three were used to teach children how to care for and ride horses, even competitively at rodeos. One was a pony.
