HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — Dispatch has confirmed to Eyewitness News that a driver hit an Evansville bank on North First Avenue on Wednesday afternoon.
A call reporting an accident at Old National Bank in the 3800 block of North First Avenue came in just before 5 p.m.. Officials say an extrication was ordered. The bank was closed at the time of the crash.
Officers say the driver was stopped at an ATM when they accidently stepped on the gas and drove into the bank. The driver suffered minor injuries.
Officials say they believe the crash was an accident. No charges have been filed…
