Huntington Beach High School was briefly placed on lockdown Wednesday morning after reports of a man waving what was initially believed to be a knife near campus.
Officers responded shortly before 8:30 a.m. to the area of Main Street and Yorktown Avenue, near the entrance to the high school and the Huntington Beach Police Department.
