Bay Drive Knife Drama: Miami Beach Teen Busted After SUV Showdown

A tense confrontation on a Miami Beach street earlier this month ended in an arrest Tuesday, after police say an 18-year-old pressed a knife against a person’s neck and damaged a vehicle near Bay Drive. Officers identified the suspect as Armando German Garcia. Video from the area shows a man stepping out of a white SUV, confronting the victim and, investigators say, holding a knife to the victim’s neck.

Authorities say the April 4 incident at 2150 Bay Drive involved a confrontation in which Garcia allegedly placed a knife against the victim’s neck and shoved the person, and that the victim’s vehicle sustained about $350 in damage.

Video footage from the scene reportedly shows Garcia arriving in a white SUV and confronting the victim while bystanders shouted for him to calm down, according to WSVN.
