SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Authorities responded to a hazmat incident at San Ysidro High School Wednesday morning that led to five adults being sent to a hospital.
According to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department, dispatch received a call around 11:30 a.m. regarding someone who had come into contact with a chemical and reportedly became nauseous at the school.
Emergency crews called a hazmat team to come and identify the chemical. A custodian arrived on scene to cover the unidentified chemical with dirt, SDFD said.
