SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – The Vidalia Onion Festival announced the fireworks show on Thursday and Friday have been cancelled.
“With the ongoing drought conditions and active fires in surrounding counties. The safety of our community, our guests, and our neighbors comes first, always,” wrote the festival in a social media announcement.
