Did you hear the buzz around town on Wednesday morning? That roar in the sky may sound familiar to those who’ve heard the Blue Angels before during Onion Festival week and Wednesday, the #7 jet and only two-seater was greeted at the Vidalia Regional Airport by dozens of citizens along with three very lucky individuals who were selected to participate in rides.
One of those is Emily Cole whose family is associated with the Savannah Bananas baseball team, and we caught up with her and her daughter Addison right before the jet touched down.
“I haven’t gotten into the nervous zone yet,” she said. “Right now, I’m just so very excited and feel so blessed for the opportunity.”…
