The New Orleans restaurant Dakar NOLA has drawn international accolades and diners from all around to its door at 3814 Magazine St. Soon they will be headed to a new address.
Dakar NOLA is relocating to 937 Leonidas St. That was the barge-board cottage and patio facing the Mississippi river levee that was previously home to the restaurant Mat & Naddie’s, which closed in 2017.
The last day for Dakar NOLA at its Magazine Street location is scheduled for May 16. The new restaurant is slated to open June 2.
The centerpiece of the modern Senegalese restaurant will remain its tasting menu, which is served to everyone at each seating simultaneously in a communal fashion…
