WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — An affidavit is shedding light on what police say led to a deadly shooting outside of a party near 13th and Hillside streets.
Kelyanna Windom, 21, is due back in court on Thursday. She is charged with:
- First-degree murder in the commission of a felony
- Criminal discharge of firearm
- Aggravated battery
The affidavit released this week says the police investigation relied on a combination of witnesses, videos and cellphone records.

The shooting happened Feb. 7. Police determined that a fight broke out at a party inside a club at 13th and Vesta Drive.
The victim, Christian Dixon, was one of two men working as security for the party. Dixon and another man moved a group of women who had been fighting outside, according to the affidavit. But police said the fight continued outside…
