NEWKIRK — Landon Lee Bissell, 42, Wichita, Kan. entered no contest pleas in Kay County District Court to child neglect and drug charges. Sentencing is deferred for five years and he is ordered by Judge Thomas Griesedieck to complete 80 hours of community service. Heather Renee Thompson who was arrested with him is scheduled for an attorney status review this week.
