Made in Acadiana: E-Crane opens new service center at Port of Iberia

NEW IBERIA, La. (NEWS 15) — E-Crane celebrated the grand opening of its new Gulf Coast service center at the Port of Iberia with giant electric crane demonstrations. Gov. Jeff Landry and other officials attended the event to mark this long-term investment in the region.

The Belgium-based company specializes in assembling giant cranes for hauling heavy materials for companies around the world. Heavy machinery from E-Crane now sits on the dock of the Port of Iberia following a nearly $8 million investment from the state.
