Suspect Accused Of Planning Festival Mass Shooting Taken Into Custody Before Reaching Louisiana

A North Carolina man is in custody after authorities say he was allegedly traveling to Louisiana with plans to carry out a mass shooting at a large festival.

According to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, federal authorities alerted deputies about the suspect, who was believed to be in their jurisdiction in Florida.

Bravo East deputies located the man at a hotel in Destin, where he was taken into custody without incident Wednesday night.
