SAN ANTONIO – A man convicted in a deadly Thanksgiving Day shooting on the city’s East Side has been sentenced to 50 years in prison, according to the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office.
Michael Moore was sentenced Wednesday in the 175th District Court to two concurrent 50-year sentences for murder and 20 years for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
The charges stem from a November 2024 shooting at a home off Potomac Street near St. James Street, where authorities say Moore opened fire during a social gathering. Two men were killed, and two others were injured in the attack…
