LEE COUNTY, Ala. (WRBL) — Lee County Schools (LCS) has been recognized with the Best Communities for Music Education nomination from the NAMM Foundation for their continuous commitment to music education.
According to the Lee County Board of Education, Lee County Schools is one of nine school districts in Alabama and one of two county systems to receive this accolade.
Lee County officials say this year marks the 26th year that the award has recognized K-12 communities across the nation, shining a spotlight on school districts who exemplify a heartfelt dedication to music education.
