Firefighters rescue ducklings from Dover Township storm drain

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — Dover Township firefighters helped a group of ducklings escape a storm drain Thursday morning in a rescue the fire department called “a little different, but just as important.”

The fire department said it was the third time their crews have been called to rescue trapped ducklings.

“With the repeated nature of the situation and the obvious danger the drain posed, our firefighters stepped in to safely remove each duckling and prevent further risk,” the Dover Township Fire Department wrote in a Facebook post…
