ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR)- First responders were called out to a fire at a Roanoke recycling facility.
It happened shortly before 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 23 inside a building in the 800 block of Korte Street SW, according to the Roanoke FireEMS Department.
Firefighters saw smoke coming from a pile of recyclables when they arrived on scene. They located and began to extinguish multiple hot spots. The fire was under control within 30 minutes.
