Lakeside Parking Clash Leaves Resident With Broken Leg

A quiet afternoon in Lakeside turned violent when a neighborhood dispute over parked cars ended with a resident in the hospital and a felony arrest on the books.

Family members say Andrew York was left with a broken leg after he was shoved into a ditch near his home when he asked a group of drivers to move their cars off a private side street. They say York was taken to the hospital for surgery and will have to stay off the injured leg for roughly three months.

Deputies responded just after 1:30 PM to the intersection of Petite Lane and Lindo Lane, where they opened an investigation into the confrontation.
