A section of the Chester Creek Trail in Anchorage is temporarily closed due to erosion that has caused part of a nearby bridge to sink near Hillstrand Pond.
The closure affects a portion of the trail near Lake Otis Parkway, and officials are asking users to follow posted detours on both the east and west sides while the area remains blocked off.
