GRATIS, Ohio (WDTN) – The village of Gratis held a council meeting on the night of Thursday, April 23, with law enforcement at the center of discussion following an incident at Cincinnati Public Schools.
The police chief was put on leave after impersonating an ICE officer, and the officer who accompanied her resigned but later changed his mind.
Officer Jeff Baylor submitted his resignation on Monday, April 20. However, in an email on Wednesday, April 22, he rescinded his resignation through email after residents expressed concern over the possibility of losing their police department.
