$5,000 reward offered to catch people doing graffiti in Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — Greensboro Crime Stoppers has announced it will give tipsters up to a $5,000 reward if they can help the police department catch whoever is marking businesses in Downtown Greensboro with graffiti and tags.

“People are working seven days a week to try to keep their businesses afloat, and I’m doing everything I can to be a part of the solution,” said Kim Grimsley Ritchy, the owner of a building in Downtown Greensboro.

Ritchy says her family owns the building at the corner of West Mcgee Street and South Elm Street in Downtown Greensboro. She says that over the last six months, she’s had to remove graffiti on the building and the surrounding area as they are looking to attract a new business to the old location where M’Coul’s Public House used to be.

“I’m exhausted. You know you can only do so much before you get burnt out, and you keep spending your money, and we’re trying to lease the building,” Ritchy said…
