Steady rain will develop overnight into Saturday

This week’s warming trend will come to an end today. Highs will reach the low 80s, which is above average for this time of year. A lot of sunshine will be around. Moisture levels will start to increase later today, and that will lead to a gradual buildup of clouds. There is a low chance that an isolated storm pops up during the afternoon over the higher elevations. Tonight, temperatures will fall to the upper 50s and low 60s. Rain chances will ramp up overnight.

Scattered rain and rumbles are expected Saturday morning into the early afternoon. The steadiest rain will develop though the morning. Rain coverage will slowly diminish through the late afternoon. Drier conditions should prevail on Saturday night. It will be a mild day as highs climb into the mid 70s.
