New Neyland Stadium traffic pattern to be tested for Luke Combs, Savannah Bananas events

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Tennessee Athletics will test a new traffic pattern next month aimed at reducing gridlock after events at Neyland Stadium.

An altered traffic flow on Neyland Drive will be implemented following the Luke Combs concert on May 2 and the Savannah Bananas game on May 23.

Beginning near the KUB Kuwahee Wastewater Treatment Plant, three westbound lanes will guide traffic toward Alcoa Highway, I-40, and Kingston Pike rather than the roadway’s normal traffic pattern, which features two lanes for each direction…
