Crime victims’ families unite at New Iberia rally

NEW IBERIA, La. (KLFY)– Families impacted by violent crime came together in New Iberia for the annual “Voice for Victims” rally, an event organizers say is focused on healing, support, and unity.

The rally, now in its 21st year, is held during National Crime Victims’ Rights Week and is organized by VOICE (Voices of Innocent Citizens Empowered). The group works year-round to support victims and their families, many of whom are coping with the loss of a loved one due to homicide or other violent crimes.
