SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCBD) – Dorchester County Sheriff Sam Richardson announced the passing of Major Ernest S. Moultrie, a distinguished member of the law enforcement community of South Carolina.
Major Moultrie was born on May 5, 1932, in Summerville. He was the youngest of seven children born to David and Molly Moultrie. Major Moultrie passed away on April 23 at roughly 8:30 p.m.
