MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Mayor Paul Young and the Tennessee Democratic Party were among those who offered their condolences and respects after longtime Memphis lawmaker and Tennessee state Rep. G.A. Hardaway died Friday morning due to a “brief illness.”
