Syracuse woman tried to sneak multiple drugs into NY prison for inmate, troopers say

Rome, N.Y. – A Syracuse woman sneaked into a New York prison several kinds of illegal drugs, which ended up making some guards sick, state troopers said.

Shondrea C. Taylor, 53, brought these substances into the Mohawk Correctional Facility while visiting an inmate April 5, troopers said:

  • AB-CHMINACA, a synthetic marijuana substance
  • Cocaine
  • Ketamine
  • MDMB-4en-PINACA, a synthetic cannabinoid
  • PCP, or phencyclidine

Taylor brought in an envelope containing pieces of paper saturated with the drugs, troopers said.

She planned to give the envelope to an inmate, troopers said…
