Six indicted for alleged fentanyl trafficking after April overdose

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – Six people were indicted on federal drug charges in Amarillo Federal Court after a multi-week investigation of alleged fentanyl trafficking and an overdose resulting in “serious bodily injury.”

The following people were named in the 12-count indictment, including:

  • OD Mathews, IV
  • Nicholas Charles Vagrosky
  • Miranda Beth Taylor
  • Wesley Tyler Flores
  • Johnathan Ray Rivera
  • Tanner Garrett Pitts

All six people are facing charges of alleged “Conspiracy to Distribute or Possess with Intent to Distribute 40 Grams or More of Fentanyl.”

Vagrosky was indicted on two counts of “Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl,” three counts of “Distribution or Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl,” and two counts of “Distribution or Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury.”

Taylor and Pitts were additionally indicted on one count of “Distribution or Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl,” while Flores is facing two counts of the same charge. The three are also facing one count each of “Distribution or Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury.”

Taylor, Flores, Mathews, and Rivera are also facing one count of “Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl.”…
