Federal jury convicts Ecuadorian national for threatening San Antonio park ranger

SAN ANTONIO – A federal jury in San Antonio has convicted an Ecuadorian national of threatening to murder a federal official, according to U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Texas.

Sergio Renato Tapia, 31, was found guilty after jurors heard evidence that he left a violent voicemail directed at a National Park Service ranger at the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park.
